Remco Engineering 3074 controllers fix big leaks. Most conveyor
systems use multiple spray bars and relatively high flow rates
to achieve good rinsing. This is fine as long as you are rinsing
panels and not just dumping water down the drain. Most systems
have no control on the water except for a solenoid that turns
the water on when the system is turned on. When the operator is
taking a break or going for another load, the system still dumps
water down the drain. That clean water down the drain reduces
the efficiency of your waste water system and increases sewer
costs and water bills.
Our approach is to minimize the time a conveyor throws rinse water
on empty rollers. Our 3074 system reduces water use by turning
on the water only when a panel is under the spray bar. Our motto
is "No WIP (work in process), no Water".
HOW IT WORKS
Our 3074 controllers are mounted in Nema 4X fiberglass enclosures.
They use a water proof optical sensor to detect a panel riding
on the conveyor. The signal activates the first adjustable timer
that is set for the time delay between the sensor and the rinse
spray bar. When this timer times out, it activates the "rinse
on" timer which is set to hold the rinse on for the longest
panel that is run on the conveyor. When a second panel enters
after the first, the timers are retriggered and the second timer
delay is reset. This insures that for multiple panel runs, the
water stays on, but when there is a break in the flow of panels,
the water is turned off. Taking the operator out of the water
control loop insures that they can pay more attention to production
rather that water control.
The system is completely water proof with an integral 3/4 solenoid
valve on an umbilical. The length of the umbilical is standard
at 5 feet. Longer umbilicals can be ordered. The system can be
mounted on a wall, a machine leg or a cosmetic panel.

Specify controller 3074. For umbilicals longer than 5 feet, add
a dash (-) then the length of the cable needed, i.e.., 3074-15
is a 15 foot umbilical.
